Five months ago Ben Lei’a (21) suffered a serious neck fracture during a training run for an upcoming rugby tour of New Zealand, which has left him a life-long tetraplegic.
Ben can only move his neck and head, and was stuck on a mattress on the floor, lying on his back looking at the ceiling. In the space of just 2 weeks The NZ Spinal Trust has collected $70,000+ of equipment and supplies and we are currently collecting donations for Ben online at www.fundraiseonline.co.nz/NewZealandSpinalTrust
