“Hi!

My name is Leo Bergman. I played for Temuka during the season 2012. I’m from Sweden and played sevens back home.

Due to lack of players that’s the only type of game we can play. You go to training and there’s five people there, standing in the rain and waiting for the team mates to arrive. There’s a non-serious attitude in the teams.

It’s the completely opposite situation in Temuka RFC. You turn up, a lot of guys are there, and it’s fun all the way through the practice. We had a good atmosphere in the team, everyone was respected and all the guys were working hard out there. We worked hard, together as a team. I developed my skills heaps, learned a lot and had loads of fun!

Temuka is very welcoming, not only the club but also the town and the people. A couple of days I walked to work, and was picked up by random people whom drove me to work.

New Zealand is a very fun place to go to. Fantastic scenery, a lot of nice people and some very good rugby players.

I would like to thank everyone in Temuka for my pleasant stay and I hope I catch up with you guys one day in the future.

Sincerely
Leo
